On November 5, 2026, two weeks before launch, Rockstar Games released a new Launch Gallery of 39 Grand Theft Auto VI screenshots. They show Jason and Lucia on jobs and nights out across Vice City, plus a first proper look at night-time life in the Grassrivers swamps.

What the new screenshots show
Most of the gallery is about the two protagonists. Coverage counts around 20 images with Jason and Lucia in them and roughly 15 set in Vice City. The rest show the wider state of Leonida.
Jason and Lucia: jobs, downtime and nights out
The pair appear during robberies, quiet moments at home and nights on the town. One of the standout action shots shows Lucia firing from a convertible while Jason drives, and others show the couple training at a gym.
Vice City nightlife and The Rusty Anchor
Nightlife gets a lot of attention. There are packed nightclub dance floors, and Jason and Lucia are seen dancing with locals at The Rusty Anchor, a dive bar lit by a neon sign. It is one of the most detailed interiors Rockstar has shown so far.
Grassrivers: airboats and alligators
Outside the city, the swamp shots are some of the most atmospheric in the set. One shows a group on an airboat hunting alligators at night with flashlights, an alligator’s eye glowing in the water. Another shows a man by a campfire with a dead snake over his shoulder and an alligator propped up on the seat next to him.
Close-up detail
PC Gamer picked out the close-up character shots, which show skin detail down to individual pores, as well as dancers and attack dogs. Rockstar has not said whether the images were captured on PS5 Pro, base PS5 or Xbox hardware.

What happens next before launch
The gallery is part of Rockstar’s final push before release. Pre-load for digital pre-orders opens on November 10 (up to 212 GB), and the game launches on Thursday, November 19 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Push Square reports that reviews are expected on November 18. Rockstar has still not announced a PC version.
