Welcome to the GTA 6 community at GTA6 Basecamp, a free place to find friends to play with. Whether you play on PlayStation or Xbox, you can meet players from your region, share gamertags and team up.
How the GTA 6 community works
First, create a free account and set up your player profile with your platform, region and gamertags. Then use the Squad Finder to post what you want to play, or join a squad that someone else posted. Also, the Player Finder lists members who chose to appear, so you can add them as friends directly.
GTA 6 launches as a single-player game on November 19, 2026, and reports point to an online mode later. So right now most squads team up in GTA Online, share story tips or plan photo sessions. When online play arrives, your profile and friends will already be here. You can read the latest on that in our online multiplayer news.
Stay safe and have fun
- 18+ only. GTA is a mature series, so members must confirm they are adults.
- Gamertags stay private. Only logged-in members can see them, and you choose whether to appear in the Player Finder.
- Report problems. Every squad and player card has a report button, and our team reviews reports quickly.
In addition, keep it friendly: no hate, harassment, cheating, scams or account selling. We remove anyone who breaks these rules. For help with your game account itself, contact Rockstar Support, because we are an unofficial fan site.
Get ready for launch
While you wait for launch day, catch up on the characters, the regions of Leonida and the launch FAQ. Then come back, post a squad and find your crew below. Also, invite your friends, because more members means more squads in your time zone.
Find people to play with: pick a platform and region, then tap "I'm in". GTA 6 launches as a single-player game, so use squads to team up in GTA Online today and to be ready when GTA 6 Online arrives.
