Brian Heder is an old-school drug runner in the Leonida Keys and an important figure in Jason Duval’s life. In fact, he is Jason’s boss and his landlord at the same time.
Who is Brian Heder?
According to Rockstar, Brian has been running drugs through the Keys for a long time. He lets Jason live rent-free in one of his properties, as long as Jason helps with the dirty work. Also, Jason’s friend Cal Hampton works in the same operation.
Wikipedia lists the actor Stephen Root as the voice of Brian. So Brian looks like a key figure in the Keys part of the story, although Rockstar has not described his missions yet.
Where Brian fits in
- Employs: Jason Duval and Cal Hampton
- Business: drug running in the Keys
- Home turf: the Leonida Keys
Brian’s profile arrived with Trailer 2 in May 2025, when Rockstar expanded its website with screenshots and character profiles for the people of Leonida.
What we don’t know yet
Rockstar has shared only short profiles before launch, so we do not know how big a part Brian plays in the story or which missions they appear in. However, we will update this entry from launch day on November 19, 2026, with missions, locations and story details, and we will hide any spoilers behind spoiler boxes.
Every fact on this page comes from Rockstar’s own character profiles, the trailers or the official website, and each one is listed in the sources below. Also, we never add rumours or leaked details to a profile. So if a field in the fact sheet is empty, it means Rockstar has not confirmed it yet.
Meanwhile, meet the rest of the cast in our characters directory and the GTA 6 characters guide, or see where the story takes place in the locations directory.
